Your energy is contagious! Love your openness and realistic positivity (is that even a thing?). At a crossroads in my life (at 54 years old!), so also juste un tout tout petite jalouse. In the best possible (inspired) way!
Salut ! What I love in this life is how des choses peuvent toutes changer dans un instant ! Follow your heart and your instincts and good things will come where you may least expect them 💕💕💕
Love reading this and hearing it all recapped! I miss having you in NYC so much but this is such a joyful, special adventure to watch unfolding—and play a small part in—I’m/we are soooo happy for you guys. And as you know, just trying to figure out out to spend more time in Paris in the future!! Keep sending these fun and inspiring stories our way!! Xoxoxo
Cooking salmon naked would be very French indeed. Another year and you might graduate to that. Enjoy it all. Your joie de vivre is uplifting. Keep it up.
What a beautiful two years! I so appreciate that you shared the mundane (i.e. impôts, immigration meetings, social charges…) in addition to the highlights. I’m just starting my immigration journey, so it’s reassuring to see that you not only survived the OFII convocations and tax days but still love it here too 💕
Merci ! I'm wishing you smooth sailing with all the administrative stuff and my main advice is just take it one step at a time and it will all work out, even if they tell you no first :-)
I absolutely love living in France, and I kind of wish I had gotten here sooner but I believe the timing is right. One guilty pleasure: I confess I still have fantasies of punching my French driving test examiner if I ever see her lurking around smoking at the Sunday market (oops did I say that?) haha
But I love how big the little victories feel when you're in a new country. Just getting through an appointment at the prefecture alone is a success worth celebrating! Bonne continuation
My fiancé and I are making plans to retire in either Portugal or Spain (I lived there as a kid;) and we are going for our honeymoon in October. I love reading about your adventures and I cannot wait until it's a reality for us! So happy for you :)

Love the fact that you intersperse French translations for unique words and phrases.
Thank you for noticing that!! If ever you see a phrase you’d like translated, let me know and je vais faire de mon mieux (I will do my best) :-)
What a wonderful adventure. You're my hero!
Life is full of beautiful surprises!
Looks like you and I have similarly ridiculously long to-do lists!!...and we both get it all done. :-)
