Invitation to Work on Your Dreams with Me!

I'm Hosting 3 Le Salon Online Creative Meet-ups in March and You Should Join Us

Salut Darlings,

I’m keeping it short this weekend, but wanted to invite you to make some time this month to work on your heart’s desire. Do you have a project that doesn’t get enough attention? Do you want to start drawing or work on a memoir or play music or plan your move to France?

If your answer is yes, you need to join our growing community of La Flâneuse readers who get together with me for creative co-working sessions to advance their dream projects or explore their interests or just get into more of a positive creative mindset in this crazy world we’re navigating.

Watch the short video clip above to get the deets on these fun free events! Places are extremely limited (and these gatherings will not be recorded), so if you like the idea, go on ahead and register now to experience the magic of this unique meet-up!

It’s called Le Salon and we have 3 new sessions scheduled so far for March. Scroll down to check it out or to register. All are free to attend, but I’m keeping the groups small so that we can really connect and feel personally inspired :-)

A Bull in a China Shop? How about a Wild Boar in a Beauty Shop? Well, I guess he could use a trim 🤭 Read on for the true story…(Photo credit unknown)

Scary (Silly?) Stories from the French Countryside:

OK, I just had to share a crazy thing that Monsieur B told me about because he knows I’m terrified of wild animals. I love them. I’m just scared of them because I grew up in an apartment. Monsieur B is not scared of them, but he does like to tease me.

So. This weekend, in the little medieval village where we had our wedding and where our family has a country house, un sanglier (a big wild boar) apparently ran out of the forest and directly down onto the main street. He bashed open the door of the hair salon (just next to the butcher shop—oh non !) and let’s just say there was un petit peu de chaos (a leetle bit o’ chaos). I can’t tell you how happy I am that I was in Paris at the time.

Can you imagine just relaxing there, I don’t know, letting your highlights set and doomscrolling the internet when tout à coup (all of a sudden) one of these guys barges in? Roh-la-laaaah ! (Photo credit unknown)

Bon bref du coup (Alrighty then),

That’s it for now mes chères et chers. I’ll be back soon with more fun stories of life in France and how I got this dang piano.

Hope to see you at Le Salon on Wednesday March 5, Wednesday March 12 or Thursday March 20.

Bisous bisous 😘

Karen

PS Yes, there is a wild boar emoji 🐗
