I agree with you completely--it is so full of joy and so cool to hear her talking about how Nicolas would deliver their wines himself in a basket one hour before dinner !!! Just love it!! Merci xoxo

Have you tried making the clafoutis with almond milk? We are not too good with lactose here, but definitely want to make this!

Hi! I haven't yet but I think it should work. If you make it, please let me know and if it does work I'll put the substitution into the recipe as I know there are a lot of lactose-free people out there :-)

I made it with almond milk and cherries! I have never made one before, so I hope that it looked as it should. I expected it, for some reason to be more cake like, but it was best described as more gelatinous. It tasted nice, I added shaved almonds and the confectioners sugar on top and it was just what it needed! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

OK amazing! Also, yes, it is kind of more of a "custardy" overall effect. So happy you liked it, and you'll see--if you make it with other fruits, it always works--peaches, apples, berries, you name it. Thanks for reporting back--I'm going to put a note in the recipe that almond milk works too!

Removing a giant tree stump sounds like one of those projects that is thrilling in the abstract (exercise, save money, diy, girl-power, all the things) and about 10 minutes into hacking away, when it doesn't readily pop out, you begin to regret all your choices.
